Cisco Systems launched its first limited data center on Monday, comes late to the party, but offers some unique features that can help set it apart from other vendors.

Limited data centers are usually standard 20 or 40-foot containers packed with servers, switches and other IT equipment shipment. Developed by companies such as Verari Systems and Sun Microsystems, they used to quickly add additional capacity to an existing data center or to capacity on an external location, such as an oil exploration site or a battlefield.
