IBM has updated his power systems lineup with higher-density of the knives and faster processors for the mid-range Power 750 server, looking for his dynamism in Unix sales hold if the market inch back to life.

IBM has been outselling both Oracle and Hewlett-Packard in the Unix market, helped by the introduction last year of power 7 eight-core processor, and lingering doubts about the route maps of the two biggest rivals, said IDC analyst Jed Scaramella.
